House rules
PokeConnect is for everyone who loves Pokémon cards and card shows, young and old. With these agreements we keep it fun together.
With each other
- Be kind. No name-calling, bullying, discrimination or threats. Kids read along too.
- Do not share someone else's address, phone number or photo unless they are fine with it.
- Only post photos that fit the show: your cards, the stands, the hall. No nudity, violence or other people's work.
- Do not pretend to be someone else, like an organiser, a well-known collector or PokeConnect itself.
Trading, buying and events
- No fakes or scams: no counterfeit cards, no misleading offers and no asking for payment up front for something you do not have.
- Offering and looking for cards goes in Trade & buy, not in the other channels.
- No advertising. Exhibitors may say where they stand and answer questions, but no price lists or advertising again and again. Organisers do not promote other events here.
- No spam: do not post the same thing over and over, and no links to web shops or other groups.
- Only submit real events, with correct details.
Pokémon GO
- No spoofing, bots or other tricks Niantic forbids, and do not help others with them.
- No buying or selling GO accounts, "piloting" or other services.
- Only meet in public places, never at someone's home. Mind the traffic and each other.
- Trainer codes may be shared anywhere in the GO section, but not in the card-show chats.
Something wrong?
- See something that is not okay? Tap Report on the message. We look at every report.
- If a message breaks the rules, we remove it. If it keeps happening, or for something serious like scams or hate, you can no longer chat.
- Think we made a mistake? Email us at info@pokeconnect.nl.
With your first chat message you tick a box to say you follow these rules.
